Last day in London

We spoke to Karen this morning and it was so cool. It is just great to talk and we did it through Skype so hopefully free! She is doing an amazing job with the dogs who are all very good. They have been walked lots, feed, brushed and loved lots. This as well as working, cooking and cleaning, Karen, you are a star!!

Deb and Fiona were there too, staying for the show so was great to catch up with them as well.

Well all the things I said we were going to do today didn't really happen. We got on the hop on hop off bus, hopped off at buckingham palace to see the changing of the guard. Forgot it was Saturday and the crowds and queues were bad. Back on the bus and heading for Tate Gallery. We got side tracked at a pub called the Wellington! Had to hop off and have lunch. We wanted to eat at an English pub so took this opportunity. I orderd lamb shank pie and will try to load a photo of it. Amazing, 7 hours later I am still full. Kev very bravely tried the London Pride beer and decided it was flat. But managed to force down 2 pints!!
Back on the bus headed for Tate Gallery but got sidetracked with Thames Festival so hopped off and wandered around there for a bit. Then it rained a little and we hopped on the tube and came home about 5pm. We did manage to write postcards for Kayley and Paige and posted them so will be interested to hear how long it takes them to arrive.

So paris tomorrow. See on the news it is supposed to be 29 deg there tomorrow. And drama in Cairo so hoping that will all settle down before we are due there.
